Case: the TV screens of a hotel group
The TVs in this hotel do not run the set-top box interface they shipped with. They run our interface layer: a welcome screen, hotel services, property information, and a few pages the hotel changes often. The screenshots below come from a live deployment — hotel names and guest details in the images are masked.

What is on the screens
- Welcome screen: welcome line, weather and time, a column of service entries.
- Service entries: WiFi onboarding, screen casting, room delivery, breakfast, invoice, power bank — each one opened by the hotel itself.
- Property information: about the hotel, restaurant and bar, room facilities.
- Service pages: opening hours, locations, a QR entry — the things that change every few months.

The hotel builds the screens, not us
The screens are put together by the hotel's own staff in the editor: start from a template, change the text, swap the image, reorder, publish. Every TV on the property picks it up.
That moves a change from "call the integrator, wait for a quote" to "edit it in a browser and press publish". The layer that changes most often is the layer the people on site should control.
What this is not
Channels, VOD libraries, casting protocols and the set-top box menu are not ours. The entries on the screen point at the services the hotel already had. We build the interface, not the TV system — see what the product is and is not.
