Connect the TVs, and replace one later
A TV is connected by pairing it: the TV shows a code, and the code is typed in the console. Pairing binds one TV to one hotel account.
Which models can run the app
The model list is not published on this page. Send the model of your TV or set-top box to the support address and it will be confirmed before you commit to anything.
Pair a TV
- Install Screen Composer on the TV, from whichever app source that device uses.
- Open it. The TV shows a pairing code.
- In the console, choose to connect another TV.
- Type the code. The TV moves on from the pairing screen and shows the hotel's published screen.
Repeat for each TV. Nothing is configured on the TV itself beyond that code, so the work is the same for the second TV as for the twentieth.
The code is single use
A pairing code works once, for one TV. It is refused if it has already been used, and it is not a password to share around the property — it is the binding of a specific screen to a specific account.
If a code has expired, open the pairing screen on the TV again; it shows a fresh one.
When it does not work
- The code is refused. Check the digits, then get a new code on the TV. Expired and already-used codes are refused the same way.
- The console says the plan is full. The number of connected TVs has reached what the plan covers. Either the plan changes, or TVs that are no longer in use are removed from the account.
- The TV keeps showing the last screen and reconnecting. That is the app waiting for the network. The screen it shows is the last one that was published, so the property is never left with a blank TV.
Replace a TV
Remove the old TV in the console, then pair the new one the same way. The screens belong to the hotel, not to the TV, so the replacement shows exactly what the old one showed.
